World War II's Most Powerful Tank
|
The 3rd Armored Division's "Super Pershing"
T26E4-1: It arrived very late in the war, but offered
an impressive glimpse of the next generation in tank firepower.
Only two of its type were ever built, and the 3AD had the only
one in the European Theater - an experimental version with a
remarkably long 90mm barrel. For more info see "Super Pershing"
on the WWII Index/Feature Articles. |
